Biscotti is a baked good which is double baked from Italy this version is flavoured with orange instead of the nuts and shaped into long, thin sticks. They are a little softer than the classic biscotti .
Brown sugar ½ cup
Orange juice 2 tbsp
Ground cinnamon 1 ½ tsp
All-purpose flour 1½ cup
Baking powder ½ tsp
Salt ¼ tsp
Orange rind 1 tsp
- Take Bowl beat together the butter and sugar until smooth and creamy. Beat the eggs until smooth add the orange rind , add to mixture and stir well. Add the orange juice and cinnamon. Mix in the flour, baking powder and salt. Beat until just mixed. Divide the dough in half on a lightly floured board and form into long sheet , about 2 inches in diameter and 5 inches long.
- Set the Dough Sheet on a cookie sheet and bake for about 30 minutes, or until they are brown on. Then take it out and cut in to small sticks 5 inch preheat in the oven 5 minutes, Just cool and enjoy.
